RBI recruitment

RBI Invitations to 79 * Vacancies of officers in Grade 'B'.

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) invites applications for the post of officers in Class B from Indian citizens, subjects of Nepal and Bhutan, Tibetan refugees and persons of Indian origin who have migrated from Myanmar and Sri Lanka for the purpose of permanently settling in India.

Application must be the Board's Office on or before 6:00 24 August 2009.

The system for selection:

Selection will be through Written Examination (WE) and Interview. We will be held in two stages as under:

i) Phase I (Objective Type Test):

This paper of 3 hours for 200 marks will be held Sunday 11 October 2009. Paper consists tests of i) general awareness ii) English Language iii) Quantitative Safety and iv) reasons. Applicants must secure minimum marks separately for each test as prescribed by the Board. Roll Number of candidates will probably be announced in November 2009 in Employment Recommendations News / Rozgar Samachar and the RBI's website and a brief notice in leading newspapers.

ii) Phase II (Descriptive Type Test):

Phase II study will be conducted in early 2010 only to candidates who are successful in Phase I (Objective Type Test). Date and time-table will be suggested that the candidates concerned in due time.
